Donaghys is proud to be the official team supplier of rope and cordage to Emirates Team New Zealand. Donaghys began their association with Team New Zealand back in 1995 when Team New Zealand first won the Americas Cup, only the second challenger to do so in the Cup's long history.
Since then Donaghys have continued to support the team working with them to develop state of the art braids in an effort to give ETNZ an advantage out on the race course. This development programme has a natural ‘trickle down affect’ resulting in some of these new products being introduced into the Donaghys Southern Ocean range.
Like Formula One, the Americas Cup is the ultimate testing and proving ground and Donaghys see their involvement as crucial to the advancement of their own leisure marine product range.
